It’s good to know where EVERYTHING is. To know every nook and crany of your home.
I’m still working on organizing all the areas of my home based on what I learned from The Power Productivity organizing program but the kitchen is finished and I just wanted to share what I accomplished thus far. I’m incorporating what I learned in the “Maintenance” section to maintain the areas of my home that I have already fully organized and it’s been a success over the past few weeks thus far.
Let’s take a closer look at my kitchen space:
We rarely eat at the kitchen table as a family but I like to keep it clean. I eat by myself sometimes
Labeled shelves for supplements and weight management items
This is a microwave stand but since I ditched using microwaves, it’s been repurposed
I’ve employed the use of Lazy Susan’s to keep my oils, vinegars and canned goods organized
Dried goods and snacks are compartmentalized in clear bins so they don’t get tossed in the cabinet any kind of way
I keep my most used appliances on the counter at all times
(NutriBullet, Coffee Maker & Ninja)
Top of the refrigerator. Meds are not kept in the medicine cabinet because they are used very frequently and are easier access in the kitchen.
These are my pots and least used appliances. This is a work in progress. I may find another closet organizer that will allow me to store pots on their side.
The junk drawer (well cable, batteries and the like)
Some day I will own my own home but until that time comes, it’s apartment living and I will do what’s necessary to keep it clean and organized.
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” - Matthew 25:21
