About a week and a half ago I was out shopping for some new makeup brushes. I was looking for a specific brand….Real Techniques. I read some great reviews on it and noticed that Walgreen’s sold them online.
Well, trying to avoid the cost of shipping I headed out to my local Walgreens. They didn’t have them That led me on a store hop to find these brushes. It never happened so I wound up purchasing them on Amazon.com (LINK). What I did wind up buying is a new concealer.
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Concealer
First, let me say this is my very first Bobbi Brown purchase. I have a concealer from Clinique that is too light for my skin so it was a bust. I also have a highlighter that came with my Lamik Celebrity Brow Kit (LINK) but it’s still a little too light for my skin. When I take pics, it looks like I have this halo under my brow. Yuck.
What I needed was a concealer that’s just a shade lighter than my skin tone.
While on my hunt for makeup brushes (I had given up on finding the Real Techniques and thought I’d just buy a different brand), I wound up in Lord ‘N Taylor. Lord ‘N Taylor didn’t have any brush sets – only individual brushes, which I didn’t want. In the process of discussing that I also needed to purchase a concealer, the sales girl at the Bobbi Brown counter offered to do my brows. I didn’t capture a photo after she did it but she totally sold me on their concealer. It is the perfect color for my skin tone! Almond.
My initial reason for purchasing the concealer was so that I could make my brows much sharper. However, I have some hyper-pigmentation and a slight darkness under my eyes and this concealer works wonders for that as well. It was totally worth the money I paid for it.
I love this Concealer! I will definitely be purchasing more from the Bobbi Brown line.
Have you tried any of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics? What’s been your experience?
