I was sent a 32 piece generic makeup brush set a few weeks ago to review. As you can see, the brushes are nicely organized in a matching pink carrying case.
Disclaimer: I did not pay for, nor was I compensated for my opinion on these make up brushes. If you’ve been reading this blog for long, you know I don’t spare a detail when it comes to product reviews. I don’t outright tear down a product unless it’s harmful or completely takes advantage of a consumer’s trust. However, I do share the good, the bad and the ugly (if there is any). I ‘m just tasteful when I do it. Now, on to this makeup brush set…
When I was first approached to review these brushes, I thought to myself, “These brushes are going to fall apart. The hairs will probably shed until the brush is bald” In my mind, there was no way they could be selling so many brushes for such a cheap price.
Then, I read the reviews on the site where you can purchase them (linked at the bottom of this post). This makeup brush set received all positive reviews. I don’t know if those reviews are legit or not so I knew I had to review the set for myself. It isn’t often that a product will receive stellar reviews across the board but it is possible.
Instead of typing out all of the pros and cons of these makeup brushes, I decided to do a video review so that I could show you the brushes up close and personal while giving you my honest opinion about them.
Before you watch my video review of these generic makeup brushes, I’d like for you to know that I am not a make up artist or even a makeup enthusiast. I’m much of a “plain Jane” most of the time. However, I do like to get glammed up by putting on a nice face of makeup over the weekend, occasionally during the week and on special occasions. Now, check out my full video review:
