About 2 months ago I was reading Rahshida’s post over at Beyond Black Beauty (visit her. She’s got tons of cool stuff she writes about!) and saw that AllYou.com and Sally Hansen were doing a MotherDaughter manicure contest.

You had to submit a pic of you and your  moms freshly manicured hands together. So, I did and then I forgot about the whole thing.

The Grand Prize winner received a $500 gift certificate to the spa of their choice, and runner-ups received gift bags chock full of Sally Hansen products.

Well guess who won?? Meeee! I didn’t get first place but I got a bag (Sally Hansen colored of course) full of stuff:

Now, y’all know I’m always reviewing Sally Hansen products. I absolutely love most everything she puts out (especially those nail polish strips). So imagine how delighted I was to receive my package!

So, yeah umm. When did Sally Hansen start making make-up? hmmm *side eye. Where was I?

Anyway, I have yet to use the wax warmer kit, cuticle eraser/balm or the leg makeup but the  complete manicure in a bottle is the bomb. It totally cuts down on the time it takes to do a manicure. Also, I’ve found that my polish stays neat for at least 5 days. That’s a big deal because they start chipping when I go to the nail salon after 2.

And don’t let me start on the lip gloss. It’s moisturizing and not greasy. It actually has the consistency of lipstick which is really nice. Fuscia Fusion is MY color! If I had purchased it I would have chose this exact color out of the ten. I think Sally really knows me. Ya think?
