Wet ‘N Wild recently released new limited edition palettes of eye shadow and nail polishes for the summer of 2013.
When I first heard about these, I was a little reluctant on the nail polishes. Wet ‘n Wild is a pretty cheap nail polish brand. You have to water it down a little because it can be a clumpy. BUT…..
The new Wet ‘N Wild Pop Art Limited Edition nail polishes are pretty good. I don’t know if they reformulated it or what but the colors go on very nicely. Below is a swatch (2 coats) of the colors I purchased.
My first manicure was done with Who is Ultra Violet and accent nail with A Blank Canvas. I overlaid the accent nail with a glitter polish rom Sinful Colors called Frenzy:
Now, on to the eye shadow palettes….
First off, I had to hunt for these. I had gone to Walgreen’s, Rite Aid and Duane Reade and none of them had it. I waited a couple of days and when I went in to Rite Aid, the ladies that work there remembered me (LOL how sad is that). Apparently, they received the shipment the day I came in.
Well, I had already picked up the nail polishes after a second trip to Walgreen’s so I didn’t need those but the eye shadow palettes were on display and I grabbed the four you see in the pic above:
- I’m Seeing Triplests
- To Muse and Carouse
- Three’s a Party
- A Regular at The Factory
As of the writing of this post, I’ve yet to try the eye shadows but I’m looking forward to it. I can imagine they aren’t highly pigmented (most drug store brands aren’t) but I don’t mind because I don’t typically go for really bold eye shadow since I’m more of an “every day” look kind of gal.
Stay tuned for more on these limited edition eye shadow palettes! I will take pics as I try the palettes out.
Have you purchased and/or tried any of the Wet ‘N Wild Pop Art collection?
